'Four Generations to Serve You'
In
the fall of 1961, Josephine Marnell, with the help of her family, opened
Aunt Josie's Resturant on the north side of Syracuse, New York.
The
restaurant was named Aunt Josie's because everyone who knew Josephine had called
her that for years.
Josephine opened her restaurant at the age of 65.
She
worked at the restaurant for 25 years until her passing in 1986.
To this day her daughter Philomena, Grandson Michael, Granddaughter-In-Law
Barbara, and Great Grandchildern Michael and Nicole all cook, wait on
your tables and prepare cocktails.
Her Great, Great Granddaughter Doriana also
makes an occasional appearance, but she's still a little too young to
work.
Welcome to Aunt Josie's where Italian cuisine is
unsurpassed.
All Homemade ingredients still go into her fine
recipes.
Welcome
Home
